Maffitt Lake Farms is located in the middle of 240 beautiful acres of farm land next to the Maffitt Lake Reservoir in Cumming, Iowa. Originally built in 1973, the Antisdel Family lost the original horse barn to a fire on December 2, 2016. The family decided to rebuild and the new ” Maffitt Lake Farms” was reopened on Memorial Day of 2017.
The new barn, indoor arena and hay barn has created a spark of new excitement for the sport of show jumping in the Des Moines area and the barn has been bustling with excitement every since its reopening.
Originally built as a family farm, owner, Melinda Antisdel, turned the facility into the top Hunter/Jumper and Equitation Facility in Iowa.
